what a great Beaujolais. very forward, lots of fruits, florest floor, blackberries. good length.
lovely mature nose of lead pencil, earth and dark coffee. quite typical of the terroir. palate just a little dry towards the end.
mature old style nose of lead pencil and graphite. rustic tannins. too much soy sauce and wet forest for my liking.
beautiful nose of sweet berries, smoke and espresso that's becoming very consistent among recent vintages. can definitely do with a couple more years in the bottle but can be enjoyed now.
sexy and punchy nose of smoke, licorice, herb, sweet earth, and leather. will no doubt improve but quite irresistible now - why wait?
