2004 Château Pavie Macquin 90 Points

Opaque ruby. In the nose dark fruits and chocolate. Still very very young. Medium bodied, with rough tannins yet elegant. Mid finish. (125$)

2004 Château Lynch-Bages 89 Points
France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Pauillac
The nose was closed and didn’t give much. Red fruits and chocolate. Medium bodied, with smooth tannins very well integrated. Good balance, good acidity. More approachable than the Pavie Macquin but less complex. (187$)
