Strange nose of sweet dark honey with a hint of gamy meat. Lush on the palate, with sweet dark fruit and a bit of char. Gloopy and overdone. Given other notes, maybe an off bottle, but the flaws (in my opinion) seem more likely to come from overripe fruit. Not my style.

Nose started tight then opened, showing dark plum and green peppercorn. Palate also started tight, then showed black raspberry fruit and light tannins. Most structure of the four '07 CdPs tasted. Very nice and likely to improve.

Big nose of kirsch and anise. Medium bodied, raspberry fruit. Simple and fruity but still tasty.

Great nose of cured meat and raspberries. Maybe a hint of VA. Medium bodied with nice texture. Black cherry fruit. Best of the four '07 CdPs tasted.
