Wine tasting: Spanish white. Weak straw yellow color. Tart, young nose with citrus, mineral and green grass. Short, brittle, young taste, very fresh and good balance. A fresh wine with good acidity. Somewhat short aftertaste.
Pale yellow color. Oak dominated nose with some dried apricots. Powerful and rich taste with oak, wet wool and distinct alcohol but not to overwhelming. Quite a good balance. Reminiscent of a oaky Chardonnay. A well built wine with high concentration and good structure
Golden yellow. Wood, vanilla and some rubber. Smells like old. A little weak taste with not much fruit left. A dying wine in my view with a very special taste. The little remaining vigor disappears from the glass during the tasting. Interesting taste but not my type of wine. Might work with tapas instead of a good sherry.
Straw yellow color. Slightly oxidized Madeira smell with dried fruit, marzipan. Later on the oxidation disappeared completely and some chemical, not to pleasant, elements appeared. Very dry taste, somewhat mute and austere. Medium long after taste. A very special wine with lotds of personality. Changed a lot in the glass during the tasting.
