This is actually holding up beautifully. Displaying it's oak aging quite obviously by showing additional roundness/smoothness and hazelnutty complexity in addition to the typical Albariño/Rias Baixas flavours of lemon, lime, green apple, fresh cut grass, grapefruit, and the pitted stone fruits, peach and apricot. Acidity is quite high, just short of being piercing, and lends the wine a character much more similar to white SB based Graves than Burgundy. Not on a downwards path yet, didn't detect any oxidization that shouldn't be there at the age of 6-7. I'm a bit impressed by the freshness, but then again, the wine hasn't rewarded keeping for this many years after purchase. I'll consume while younger in the future

Excellent expression of Albariño with floral aromatics, mineral, lemon and green apples. The freshness of the fruit is somewhat muted by early signs of development, adding a layer of honey/beeswax. Vibrant acidity and restrained alcohol makes this an excellent food wine.

Smell:Some lemon, some apple, some exotic fruit Taste: Lemon and exotic fruit. The wine is fresh with acidity, but is also both slightly bitter and sweet. Maybe a little short.

Munskänkarna: Spanska vita (Uppsala): Wine tasting: Spanish white. Weak straw yellow color. Tart, young nose with citrus, mineral and green grass. Short, brittle, young taste, very fresh and good balance. A fresh wine with good acidity. Somewhat short aftertaste.
