Intensely perfumed with mostly dark fruit character. On the palate very lush and rich. Not as oaky as I remember this wine being in the past. Excellent mouth feel and somewhat saline with medium soft tanins and nice grip. Pretty tasty now.
Somewhat beefy perfumed nose. Substantial structure combined with a nice silky fruit component and a fair amount of new oak showing through. Very complex and rich with a lot of underlying power. Should be a beautiful wine down the road
A very earthy and spicy nose that is higher toned and leans toward red fruits. Lots of power and grip on the palate nice concentration of underlying fruit. Should be great down the road.
Very high toned and exotic licorice laced nose. Deep lush tarry flavors with excellent concentration. The fruit is balanced nicely with soft but present tannins a delicious wine now but should be a blockbuster in 10 years. Wow.
Blast of vanilla toast and oak on the nose. Some spicy nice fruit on the palate, but the wood is running the show right now. Hopefully this will get absorbed over time, but I am dubious.
Remarkably precise and focused nose perfumed with rose and other floral aromas. The precision and fine tuned qualities carry through on the palate with lots of complex nuances and heavy on cherry like fruit. Powerful in intensity but not a heavywight, quite light on its feet. Really impressive.
Super rustic cedar nose with lots of tar and spice. Huge mouthful of a wine with high toned tartness balanced out with rich complex fruiti and medium chewy tannins. Lots of focused red fruit here with earth and camphor flavors. Another great effort from Beppe.
Slightly odd beef jerky like nose. Very chewy and tannic on the palate. The fruit component is fairly obscurred by the massive tannins. Fairly interesting to see what it does with age, but not really my cup of tea right now.
Ethereal exotic nose with lots of classic components of tar and rose as well. Seems very young on the entry but has unreall mouthfeel and texture. Loads of anise and red fruit with a blast of burly tannin at the end. Should be monumental..
Extremely raw deep wet-earth infused nose. Almost still seems like a barrel sample. Massive complex licorice infused palate with dark fruit laden mid-palate. Lots of complexity and power here.Intense layers of loamy briary spice on the finish. This should be a 50 year wine easy.
