  4 hour+ slo-o. Terrific juice. Enticing bouquet of earth and fruit. Beautifully balanced on the palate. Finishes with considerable length. A wine with soul!

  Fantastic nose of ripe cherries, pipe tobacco, tar, liquor, undergrowth. Lush and silky palate, very smooth, ripe fruits with subtle candied elements but also a touch of menthol, leading to a long finish with spices. Very balanced wine, round and full, yet still elegant, in a great drinking window. Definitively from a warmer vintage but there is also lot of structure, and the tannic bite is very subtle. Great wine!

  Incredible bouquet of flowers, high quality liquor, sweet fresh pastry with vanilla, cherries, berries, some tertiary elements in the back. Lush, silky, sweet palate, full, ripe, tannins are finely grained with a nice sweetness, some freshness and spiciness on a long finish. Feels light but still full, sweet and structured, with some grip on the finish, especially initially, to be further dissolved and mellowed. In a great spot but still some upside. What a great Barolo, what a great wine!
