Introduction

I was a late invite due to my schedule change and OMG it was worth it! It was Dr. Tom's time to host the luncheon and he dug deep and had a theme of two's. Having at Michael restaurant in his new library room made for a great long afternoon.

Silver Passed Warm Gougeres, Pâté Canapé & Tuna Tartare on Lotus Root Chips

Flight 2 (1 Note)

Sauteed Medallion over Struedel & Torchon in Sauternes. Fantastic and oh sooooooo good

Flight 3 (1 Note)

Panache of Lobster Ravioli and Butter Poached Tail, Lightly Spiced Thai Lobster Butter

  • 2002 Kongsgaard Chardonnay 90 Points

    USA, California, Napa Valley

    Not a big fan of this wine, dark amber color, initially muted fruit, over 2 hours dramatically changed color to be more clear, fruit still muted but better. Went very well with the food.
