The idea was for everyone to bring for Flight 1 just one 'new world' wine that is 2004 or older, no further restrictions, we ended up to all bring Auzzies. Tasted double-blind in that sense. Flight 2 were wines we had opened the day before and tasted non-blind. The sweet wines I understood was the same topic as Flight 1 but just sweet, but apparently I misunderstood that :-)
2002 Peter Lehmann Cabernet Sauvignon Light Pass Cabernet Sauvignon 93 Points
Australia, South Australia, Barossa
Dense color, scent of old thick cloth, old leather jacket, well integrated alcohol, 4-fruit marmalade, nice acidity, very dense in the palate, ready to drink with 20 years potential. This is amazing value!

2003 Kalleske Shiraz Greenock 85 Points
Australia, South Australia, Barossa, Barossa Valley
This is spritzy, like a Lambrusco. I had this with some 2007 CdP but never with an Auzzie. It's not too bad, just pop the cork, pour half a glass put the cork back on and then shake it (really well), take the cork off again, put it back on and then shake it again once or twice.
Before doing that it has a very nice nose with cherry, burnt rubber, licorice. But then it goes downhill and it is very thin on the palate.
After the shake it has a different appearance: much more power in the palate, but also a different type of nose. I think it needs to be shaken and then decanted for 12 hours or so.
