I think that was the greatest dining experience I've ever had in my life. The criteria must be a balance of deliciousness and audacious creativity and 11 Mad negotiates that better than any other restaurant I've been to. That is the ONLY "deconstructed / molecular" cuisine I've EVER had that was actually straight up DELICIOUS
NV Chartogne-Taillet Champagne Cuvée Sainte Anne
France, Champagne
Showed with even more detail, heft and even delicacy (as contradictory as that sounds) from a Riedel Champagne flute.

2007 Georg Mosbacher Forster Elster Riesling Spätlese
Germany, Pfalz
Almost at my last bottle. This wine showed like a superstar tonight and wowed the whole table. Even nicer out of a Riedel Riesling stem, and sat upon the foie gras and blackberry movement something wonderful.

2007 Les Cailloux (Lucien et André Brunel) Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc
France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Poorly stored, or over the hill. Too bad.
