AN EXCESS OF RICHES. Amazingly there was little barnyard brett, which I have noted in old Paulliac's. I asked the group what was the youngest Vintage they owned, and it seemed to be 2000. With most being sellers now, rather than buyers at today's stratospheric prices. The only 1st Growths we didn't have were Latour, and Petrus.
2002 Veritas Vineyard Viognier 92 Points
USA, Virginia, Central Virginia, Monticello
(4/30/2013)
Color Greenish Gold. Legs medium. Lemon, Lime, Peach and Honeysuckle notes. Jerry's White. It seeme like Viognier to me.
As Jerry noted, none could ID it's whereabouts, as we hadn't experienced wines from VIRGINIA before. Ver impressive.

Al's White. Color Yellow Gold. Legs Slow. Flavors of Grapefruit and Apricot with Minerality. Smoot texture, and a medium finish. Obviously older than the Veritas.
