Chidaine offers tremendous value in the Loire. We tasted through a portion of his range. It was interesting to compare vintages and the Vouvray vs. Moutlouis wines. Looking forward to enjoying these wines both in the short term many years in the future.
NV François Chidaine Montlouis-sur-Loire Méthode Traditionelle Demi-Sec
France, Loire Valley, Touraine, Montlouis-sur-Loire
This is the Demi-Sec bottling. The Brut bottling is listed under Brut in the CellarTracker drop down list. Mildly sweet. A touch of brown sugar. Fine bubbles. Lip smacking and delicious. Really good.
