Reds decanted for 1.5 hours - except #2 which was its second day.
Light red in color with a hint of Violet on the nose - the 375ml seems to have less aroma than the 750ml - not sure why?A little thin on the palate with acidity - not sure if this needs to lie for a while - does not seem totally balanced.

Dark bright red - this was the second night of this wine. Decanted 24 hours before for 5 hours and then resealed.Smooth and velvety with good tannins - 7/10. Violets on the nose which gave an indication of Pinot or Pinotage. Moderately long finish. See notes from the previous night's pinotage tasting - this was not as good at the 2006 and maybe needs some more time to rest.
Wow this was a surprise. Brick brown color and shows a lot of age. From the look I was worried that this would be very light and thin. But this was delicious with a sweetish fruity finish. Good tannins 6.5/10 with a moderate finish.
Gentle light nose with dark red youthful body. Tannins 6/10. I thought that this was a merlot. The cabernet does not come through - no cassis and not fruit forward. Quite dry and flat with a simple finish.
Dusty chalk nose with copper brown edges. The nose was not exciting thus was not expecting much. Body was better than expected and nicely balanced.
Clean chalk nose and dark ruby red color. Strong tannins 7/10 with a full body and long finish.
