Weird nose, steely. Meh.

Steely, slightly creamy texture, bitter orange, medium finish; tasted blind and was uncertain between a more modernist Burg or Napa. Good.
Cherry, herbal, some pleasant green notes; my notes said "like a cab-franc/Rhone blend." Tasted blind, and for the money, this is terrific. Very good.
Deep ruby color. Slightly spritzy on open? Tasted blind, but clearly Rhone, and a big Rhone. Very ripe. Big. Deep, rich blackberry. Good.
Iodine. Oxidized.
On open, this seemed a bit off/weird, with a hint of iodine. With time, dark, pure fruit emerged.
Medium purple; Brambly, berry; tingly tannin; very pretty; quite young. Good.
Chalky; lime and clementine. Yummy Schaefer goodness.
Rich; apricot and pear. Tasted blind, and I said "I think this Schaefer, but I'm not sure." and got not credit (for hedging). Has the ripe, unapologetic, Schaefer joie de vivre.
