Lots of power and energy. The lemon/lime and pear flavors were really powerful. Had some truffle, and hazelnut tones too. This will need lots of time to open up more, but it has everything it needs already.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru
Chalky, with some lemon oil tones. Thought the wine was somewhat one dimensional, but at least it didn't take on any of the buterrscotchy tones you worry about.
Started off beautifully...dark fruits, lots of stoney, and smokey fruit. I left dinner on the early side, but it sounded like this broke down pretty quickly. It was really nice when I drank it...shame it broke down.
Very tasty wine with exuberant peach, mango, and lychee on the nose. The palate was bright and fresh with deep tropical tones. Nicely balanced, and drinking deliciously.
Really beautiful nebbiolo. Dark nose of tar, berries, earth, and mushroom. The tannins were still there, but they were smooth and didn't distract from the gorgeous fruit. So lithe, and powerful. Great barolo.
Delicious chablis with tons of oceanic/tidal pool tones coupled with a sweet lemon oil element. Lots of balance and depth on the palate had this drinking incredibly well. Yes sir!

Loved the nose of melons and flowers. The palate didn't have great acidity so it came across a bit flat and flabby.
