Ripe ruby. Nose of black currants, vanilla, herbs and cooked berries. Wonderful sweetness which is perfectly integrated, highly elegant and balanced. Just an amazing wine to drink over the next 10+ years.

Tasted blind: Intensive dark red in color. Bouquet of currant, vanilla and dark chocolate. Very classical cab, nice integrated tannins, good sweetness and deep. Still not fully in balance and I think this wine can benefit from a few more years in the bottle.

Tasted blind: Intensive color. Nose of leather, barn, herbs and hints of mint. Overall it reminds me a bit of a St. Julien. Very balanced, powerful and showing great potential. Still quite youthful. Flavors of Coffee and dark chocolate emerge after a while. A true old fashioned Cab. Great stuff!

Tasted blind: Deep red showing some signs of aging at the rims. Nose shows strong tar notes. Quite sweet, cooked berries and one dimensional. I was a bit disappointed by this wine. Drink now as further storage will not benefit this wine.

Tasted blind. Still deep red. Nose of tar and berries. Nice sweetness, balanced and one dimensional. The tannins feel a bit dry. Overall a solid wine (like the 1990) to drink now

Tasted blind: Deep red showing first signs of age. Notes of leather, herbs and barn. Quite a powerful, deep and sweet wine as one would expect from To-Kalon. The tartiness is disturbing. Many liked this wine and I have to agree that this is overall a good wine, I am just not a fan of this style.

Tasted blind: Deep in color. Multilayered notes of coffee, smoke, dark berries and chocolate. Perfect harmony between power and balance, rich but still elegant, extreme length. Amazing wine ... close to perfection. Drink now with no hurry.

Tasted blind: Deep red. Nose of dark roasted coffee, smoke, black licorice and cooked red berries. Powerful, balanced and elegant. Hmm did I just say elegant...would not have expected to use Sloan and elegant in the same sentence. It is a fun wine to drink, still on the youthful side and I expect it to get better in a few years...

Light yellow in color. Nose of vanilla, limes, and perfumed with a certain oakyness. Quite a rich SB, balanced, elegant with a nice sweetness. Not your typical SB, reminds more of a Voigner. Drink now - 2018
