This is my third adventure in my quest for the best in New Jersey wineries and like the others it was hit and miss. I think the history of fruit wine in the state still shows in the production in many place today, producers are not afraid of "dry wines" with lots of residual sugar and the dessert wines can be wildly sweet and undrinkable in any quantity other than a sip.
We started the morning with brunch at George's in Cape May, a tiny little dinner featuring lots of flavorful dishes. I went for the banana Nutella waffles, more like a dessert but I'm OK with it because it was delicious.
