France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Meursault 1er Cru
Mature developed wine, lots of nuts and almonds, secondary fruit tones. The wine lacks tension due to limited mid-palate concentration and low acidity.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru
Lovely nose, spicy, smoky, musky, difficult to define but very pleasant and elegant. Taste also elegant, intense, sweet and soft, the fruit a bit held back because of its youth. Great experience.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Romanée St. Vivant Grand Cru
From magnum. Lovely dark fruit nose with leather and coffee tones. A nose to drown in. Taste starts with surprisingly fresh fruit, very open, concentrated, seems a lot younger than it is. Mid-palate more mature tones. It seems to hold it self back a bit in the last part, is even a bit edgy. Finish is long but slightly restricted. If the finish develops more with additional time in the cellar I would give this 95-96 points.

This wine surprised me with its fresh tangy red fruit, elegant. A bit light but very seductive. Nice wine to end an amazing evening.
