Violet, mint and straw aromas. Decent persistence on the palate, the acid does give it some refreshment and there is some body to the fruit. Drinks well and should improve as well.
Lifted florals, a mineral streak and earth in the background. More body than the estate Trocken, the acid does keep up and there is good length to it while also having moderate depth. Entirely approachable now but should age nicely. Balances freshness and fruit power well.
Mineral and apple, mandarin - quite restrained on the nose. A delicate nature on the palate, there is some good quality behind it, but it is tightly wrapped up for now. Give it time.
Much more expressive than the Klosterberg trocken from this year - citrus, coconut, mineral and lemon rind. Good power on the palate, along with good length. This has great potential to develop but it also shows plenty of what it has now. Balanced and classy.
Toast, lanolin, pear, spice and mineral. Full bodied palate with lovely balanced, the acidity keeping up with the immense fruit power. It isn't sweet, but there is definitely richness to it. Delicious and it does have great finesse despite the warmth of the vintage.
Apple, pear, cinnamon, singed marshmallow and orange. The sweetness is just so well integrated that it barely tastes of sweetness at all even with 75 g/l of residual sugar. Demands another sip of the wine after each taste, it draws you in and is really quite amazing.
