Dark-ish colour. A bit of barnyard, soft dark cherries on the nose. Medium bodied, again an airy feeling to this wine. Good balance. Lacks in character and overall complexity.

From a magnum. It is almost spritzy, very lively and racy. Nose of barnyard, juicy fruits, minerality, dark cherries. Tannin on the upper lip. I was told maceration went on for a year and it seemed correct judging by the wine. It reminded me of some natural wines but in a good way.

Smoked sausage, fat fire fried sausage on the nose. Sweeter than the previous wines, few tannins, friendly-fruity-light body, also a bit jammy on the palate. Interesting.

Spritzy, with a good structure of soft, juicy, excellently balanced red/black berries. Proper restraint. A pleasant surprise.

Flowery, pronounced herbal notes on the nose, there's also some carrot-vegetal notes. Initially seemed overripe, but it subsided, improved a lot with air. Classy.

Overripe and plush, broad nose. Prunes on the nose and palate, very dry.

Very dark and not transparent colour. Honey, dried fruits, simple and generic wine. Not intresting.

Very good overall balance, lightly fruity, very fresh. Soft flowery notes on the nose. Concentrated and mineral palate, quite tight. Lovely.

Murky, pickle notes, low alcohol, high accidity, too "natural" something went wrong here.

Very meaty, milky sausage, soft nose. Comparatively rustic for a Bojo, but liked it very much.

Well, second bottle was very nice. Properly mature with some barnyard, dried red fruits and herbs, nothing extraordinery, but just a good bottle of wine to have with some light food.

2009 Olivier Horiot Rosé des Riceys En Barmont 84 Points
France, Champagne, Rosé des Riceys
Light, a bit chemical, flowery notes of hyacinth. Later develops sauerkraut juice notes. Light, even watery body, like a rose (which it is). Geeky and interesting, but on a summer day, no use drinking it when it is cold outside.

2005 Georges Vesselle Coteaux Champenois Bouzy Rouge Grand Cru 86 Points
France, Champagne, Coteaux Champenois
Quite thick for a CdC, but still has characteristic light feeling about it. Nose of dark cherries, peppermint, herbs, herbal teas, Lady's-mantle. Pleasant development in the glass, opens up. It is more a peculiarity, but still a good wine.
