  94+ pts; Very focused, clean, minerals all over the palate, bright acidity and lots of bright red fruit. Tannins are assertive but not overwhelming. Not the wine I had planned on having but a great suprise for the night. Had at SPQR SF. If your looking for good QpR look elsewhere, this is a very nice bottle but it's on the pricier side.

• 1998 Moët & Chandon Champagne Cuvée Dom Pérignon Flawed

  Bottle was slightly corked which got worse as the wine warmed. However still very enjoyable. Slight oxidative notes, honeyed, yeasty, thick mouse and rich mouth feel. 90 pts.
