  • 2004 Clos Saint Jean Châteauneuf-du-Pape 91 Points

    France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape

The nose had cherry mixed with smoked meat and a bit of cedar. The palate was very smooth, with raspberry and cedar, plus some herbs and smoke. The finish was very good.

  • 1997 Château Mouton Rothschild 90 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Pauillac

A wonderful nose of coffee and blackberry, followed by some asparagus and cedar. The palate had lots of cedar plus cassis, as well as some vegetal notes. The finish was very good.
