Takes 45 min to open up. Still in enjoyable shape but I should have drunk this in its youth. After the primary fruit has gone (at least since 2013) the wine reveals a lack of stuffing. At least Balanced and flawless. Rather for beginners. Without any flavours on the second evening.
As noted in a previous review a couple of months ago, this wine is beginning to lose fruit, has noticeable tannins in the mid-range and finish as the fruit diminishes, and has a bit of oxidation. I wound up not drinking the wine as life is too short to drink bad wine.
This must be a bad lot I received OR the wine itself is flawed. Every bottle we've drank has been flat or off. This one had the same greenness and was just eh. We dumped the rest and I highly doubt the last bottle ever becomes something better. It will not be consumed in a meaningful setting, that is for sure.
As noted in a previous review of this wine, I think this wine is beginning to lose fruit with more pronounced tannins emerging, has a touch of oxidation, and should be drunk up sooner rather than later.
