We all had to bring a wine of the theme. We did not know which wines were brought. All wines were poured fully blind, also not knowing when your own wine was poured.
In the bouquet some smoke and primary red fruits. On the palate supple red and dark berries, herbs, ok acidity, some bitterness and slightly sticky tannin. Overall an easy, clean and simple wine.
In the bouquet cherries, raspberries, yoghurt, herbs and some licorice. On the palate the same. Very mild acidity, a touch of sweetness and some bitterness. Overall a wine without any character, but not faulty either. For me that means a score of 78 in this case.
In the bouquet some dark and red berries an some impressions of oak. On the palate rose hips, red berries, some thyme, herbs, ok acidity and round tannin. Ready now.
In the bouquet red berries, and candy flavors. On the palate cherry yoghurt, candy flavors, a firm amount of ok acidity. Overall a friendly wine without real complexity and luxury. I understood that “Friederike” is a blend between Dornfelder and Spätburgunder.
In the bouquet cherries and yoghurt. On the palate cherries, red berries, some cassis, pleasant acidity and supple easy going tannin with just a little bite.
