  Served by the glass. Good to very good manzanilla but by comparation with Blanquito this one lacks depth and length. Savoury, good qpr but can't match its peers.
  
  Servido por copas. Una manzanilla de buena a muy buena pero por comparación con Blanquito carece de profundidad y de longitud. Sabrosa, de una buena relación calidad-precio pero no puede competir con sus pares.

  Served by the glass. Mahogany colour with an endless complexity. Superb. Long and delicious. Can't wait for another glass. Wow factor all the way. Really impressed.

• NV Despacho de Vinos Mar7 Oloroso

  Served by the glass. Delicious and complex. With that almost sweet aftertaste that leaves the old oloroso and that some confuse with the addition of PX. Neither has PX nor is old, moreover from there comes the abundance, balance of this fragrant, tasty wine. Highly recommended.
  
  Servido por copas. Delicioso y complejo. Con ese regusto casi dulce que deja el oloroso viejo y que algunos confunden con la adición de PX. Ni tiene PX ni es viejo de ahí viene lo abundante, el equilibrio y lo sabroso de este oloroso. Altamente recomendable.

• NV Bodegas Garvey Manzanilla Juncal

  Served by the glass. Dated 2008. What time does in wine, including the fortified ones. Cloudy. Smelling at first of tire that is transformed into an umami sensation with aromas of nuts and dates. In mouth it has an adjusted length but I prefer to consider its kindness and docility. Worths every penny with age.
  
  Servida por copas. Del 2008. Lo que el tiempo hace en el vino, incluyendo los fortificados. Turbio. Olor al principio a neumático que se transforma en una sensación umami con aromas a frutos secos y a dátiles. En boca tiene una ajustada longitud pero prefiero quedarme con su amabilidad y su docilidad. Merece la pena.

  Served by the glass. Just a drop but this turbid amontillado there is real class.
  Even at this level you can get value drinking sherry wines. It's creaminess had only a bunch to be compared with. Balanced and aristocratic. Closing to perfection. A gem.

  Incluso en este nivel puedes conseguir valor bebiendo vinos jerez. Su cremosidad solo podría ser comparado con un puñado de iguales. Equilibrado y aristocrático. Cerca de la perfección. Una gema.

• 2012 Alphonse Mellot Sancerre Génération DIX-NEUF Alphonse Mellot - La Moussière

  From a bottle "opened" a week ago using coravin.
  Far away from any typical here, you can't know if this is SB or what the hell is. Impossible even on the palate. What was happening here? Too clear to me ... Argon is not as much neutral for wine as many are supposing. Sorry for this. By the way I like this producer very much.
  
  De una botella "abierta" hace una semana usando coravin.
  Lejos de cualquier tipicidad, no se puede saber si esto es SB o lo que infiernos sea. Imposible incluso al paladar. ¿Qué estaba pasando aquí? Demasiado claro para mí ... El argón no es tan neutral para el vino como muchos están suponiendo. Perdón por esto. Por cierto, adoro a este bodeguero.

• 2006 Domaine Henri Boillot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles

  Substitute bottle for Alphonse Mellot.
  An artificial yellow colour. Vegetable aromas mixed with other minerals, limestones. On the palate it is pointed, very angular, unusually sharp to considering it is coming from 2006. It is that very young.
  Still knowing that his successes are more among the reds of Volnay, very succulent, than among whites this one can be considered for what it is, then not so bad. I liked it but there are better examples.
  
  Botella sustituta de la de Mellot.
  De un artificial color amarillo. Aromas vegetales mezclados con otros minerales, calizos. En boca es puntiagudo, muy angular, inusualmente afilado para ser del 2006. Es que está muy joven.
  Aún sabiendo que sus éxitos están más entre los tintos de Volnay, más suculentos, que entre los blancos se puede considerar que para lo que es, no está tan mal. Me ha gustado pero hay mejores ejemplos.

  Very closed at first. With air, behind the yeasts, appear aromas of nuts and curry sauce. Honeyed in the mouth, a little short but tasty. The last drink, the best.
  
  Muy cerrado al principio. Con aire, detrás de las levaduras, aparecen aromas a frutos secos y salsa de curry. Meloso en boca, un poquito corto pero sabroso. El último trago, el mejor.

• 2013 Domaine Henri Richard Gevrey-Chambertin Les Corvées

  Those were the times, when a burgundian wine was judged depending on label: traditional a good one, modern I-so wine. Only red of the lunch. Sincerely this bottle was nothing else than an artificial flavoured PN.
  Horrible on the palate too. Little hopes for my Tortochot.
  
  Que tiempos aquellos cuando oíamos que en una botella de vino de borgoña la etiqueta lo decía casi todo: tradicional era bueno, moderna era un vino así-así. El único tinto del almuerzo. Sinceramente esta botella no fue otra cosa que un PN de extracción artificial. También espantosa en boca. Muy pocas esperanzas para mi Tortochot.

• 2011 Bodegas Juan Matias Torres Perez Malvasia La Palma Vid Sur

  Good but monolithic. Any sign of greatness, complexity either. Reserved acidity. In my humble opinion more a curiosity than a serious alternative to some Spanish sweet wines.
  
  Bueno pero monolítico. Ningún signo de grandeza, tampoco de complejidad. Acidez sin estridencias. En mi humilde opinión más una curiosidad que una seria alternativa a algunos vinos dulces nacionales.
