• 2015 Markus Molitor Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese (White Capsule) 93 Points

  Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer

  Great vintage due to ripeness and acidity (close to 1990).
  Clean nose, high intensity of fruit, ripe liem, pineapple, lemon, lemon leaves, mineral, still fresh.
  Fresh in the palate, balancing acidity, nice, green, lemon, 7.50%, (60-80gr RS), lemon pie,, med body, med+ finish flavored with sweet lime
  Outstanding quality, subtle but great

• 2011 Markus Molitor Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese (White Capsule) 92 Points

  Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer

  The nose is very different, ripe fruit, tropical fruit, only starting to offer some petrol ntoes, the intensity stands a bit lower than the 2015, dried apricot.
  In the palate, the wine shows ripeness again, seems ready, round, the acidity seemed lower than 2015, the finish is shorter, maybe more mineral, green fruit.

• 2009 Markus Molitor Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese (White Capsule) 90 Points

  Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer

  The 2009 was a warm vintage, fully ripe, no botrytis.
  This one is closer to 2011, a few petrol notes, ripe/overripe apricot, med intensity overall.
  In the palate, the wine is less pronounced, balanced, ripe fruit, nice acidity, med body and finish.
  Ripe, green fruit (apple and pear) jam. Outstanding but again quite different in sytle

• 2007 Markus Molitor Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese (White Capsule) 92 Points

  Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer

  The vintage was dry, hot with fruit intensity.
  The nose is unique, ripe fruit, oxidative notes, nutty, almond, has quite an intensity, again quite different from the rest with the same of complexity.
  Very nice in the palate, exotic, ripe fruit, nutty notes again in the palate as well, rich, impressive with long finish.

  Complex, rich, petrol notes, nutty, ripe and overripe tropical fruits, some spicy hues too.
  The palate is rich, nice green freshness still going on, tropical fruit of high intensity, balancing acidity, mineral, clear with long finish.

  Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer

  The warmest summer in history, low acidity, many producers harvested quite early, ultumately using fruit with bitter notes.
  The fruit is ripe, tropcial but with peach too, a few floral and spicy notes as well.
  The palate is clearly riper, quite fruity, rich, high tropical notes, peach flavored long finish.

  Very rich, impressive, floral, ripe tropical fruit, candied fruit.
  In the palate, the wine is clear, 11.50%, lime, med to high intensity, lemon, well structured, long finish.

  The nose is rich, rich, more on the ripe fruit side than on the yeast, some lemon notes, slghtly oxidative.
  Quite the CO2 in the palate, lemon, lime, explosive, sweet-ish notes, honey, med body and med to long finish

• 2013 Volcanic Slopes Assyrtiko Pure Santorini 90 Points

  The grapes were sourced from Pyrgos and Megalochori villages, 13.5%, fermented in concrete tanks , stayed there for 14-15 months, 6300btl.
  The nose is strange, interesting, complex, sweet and candied aromas, almost buttery, herbal, ripe fruit.
  The palate is of shows high intensity and acidity, rich, a bit tight, med+ body and finish.
  Very interesting
