We take turns. The host provides the dinner and all the wines. There is no theme and all wines are poured fully blind.

  No formal notes. Good citrus and some herbs and spices. Very fresh and beautiful wine.

  Concentrated bouquet with leather, herbs, licorice and some celery. On the palate licorice and dark berries, beautiful acidity and round, soft tannin with a pleasant bite.

  Beautiful bouquet with sweet spices and chocolate. On the palate sweet spices, a lot of chocolate, soft acidity and buttery soft tannin. Fully mature and still delicious.

  Beautiful and complex bouquet with coffee and chocolate. On the palate the same coffee and chocolate, pleasant bitterness, juicy acidity and soft tannin. Ripe and mature and still several years of future.

  Quite brown color. The bouquet is a bit stinky and has chocolate. On the palate chocolate, sweet spices, dark berries, good acidity and slightly sticky tannin. Quite mature, but not too old yet. Don’t wait much longer.

  Chocolate brown color. In the bouquet celery and organic flavors. On the palate sweet licorice, chocolate, still some soft dark fruits, cinnamon, ok acidity and a firm amount of sweetness. Good length. Overall still ok, but for my taste this bottle was a bit past its peak. No score.

  Extremely dark color. The bouquet is intense with dark berries and luxurious oak. On the palate intense as well. Beautiful and luxurious oak, some bell pepper, sweet spices and sweet licorice. A firm dose if sweetness and also good acidity. Ready now and the next few years. 92 - 93

  Tasted blind from a black glass. (And then you start to wonder why….. ;-)) Concentrated and somewhat earthy. Almonds and marzipan. Good acidity and minerals. The wine was still very good and special. What a great surprise for a rosé of this age. 89 - 90

  The bouquet is not very expressive, but shows some good vanilla and yellow as well as white fruits. On the palate the wine is a bit locked, caramel, good fruits and acidity. Good minerals and length. Nicely dry and still youthful. Beautiful wine.

  Long time ago I tasted this wine and although I did not take many notes, it is still a beauty. In the bouquet still dark berries, beautiful sweet spices and oak. On the palate sweet spices, beautiful acidity and round, soft tannin with still a pleasant bite. The wine is fully mature now and will probably stay on this level for several years. A beauty.

  Extremely dark and concentrated color. In the bouquet and on the palate dark berries. Green bell pepper, a lot of acidity and tannin. The tannin is ripe but also a bit green, so this wine probably has a long future. It is a beauty already. 94++
