For Holiday Weekend 2017, Abeja invited guests to a comparative tasting consisting of 2 vintages of 4 wines; one made by John Abbott, and one made by Dan Wampfler & Amy Alvarez-Wampfler.
It was a nice treat to try these side-by-side!
2016 Abeja Chardonnay
USA, Washington
Pear, green apple, minerals, zest. Nice round creaminess on the palate. Fresh acidity. Fuller bodied, but nicely balanced.

2012 Abeja Chardonnay
USA, Washington
Apple, lemon zest, and hints of smoke/spice. Creamy, soft and delicate body, with lemon curd and minerals. Lovely, fresh finish.
