SLIGHT cork at start, but not in taste which was beautifully mellow and perfectly acidic for the lemon pasta meal we enjoyed. Glad we did not wait any longer

This is a wine that saw 100% new oak and needed time to have that integrate. It is just reaching the point where the oak doesn’t stick out and feels integrated. It could go a few more years and improve for my palate. Nice acidity and nice fruit profile. The oak notes of butterscotch are starting to calm down. Decent wine but for the price I’d rather have a Chablis.

Near end of drinking window so thought this would be a great opening for Thanksgiving and was definitely proved right. Bright melon and tropical fruit, clean, crisp just a hint of butter.

Abeja Comparative Tasting (Holiday Weekend) (Walla Walla, WA): Apple, lemon zest, and hints of smoke/spice. Creamy, soft and delicate body, with lemon curd and minerals. Lovely, fresh finish.
