From MG.
Quite fat, dens, oak is present, notes of orangepeel, butter - very rich, very New World. Almost too much.

Served vis-a-vis the 2004, and much fresher - probably the reason why many guessed Puligny-Montrachet; fresh with good acidity and balance, quite European, very fine.

Mature, classic leftbank Bordeaux; notes of coffee, truffels, ceadar - harmonious and mature

Beautiful and mature with notes of truffels and chocolate and a fresh, not heated fruit.

Beaux wine. Spicy nose, vibrating, elegant structure, clean and soft as silk, vibrating and intense fruit, soft tannins, great length, great Burgundy, very much 2002. 94+ point.

Beautiful structure, not without it's edges, but the sweet 2002-fruit is in the foreground; harmonious, still young, on day 2 even better. 93

The elegant style remains, it is light, yet intense, cremy texture, loads of red berries nut also an underlying heat - a bit confusing. Even at Gramenon, 2003 left its mark.

Rather burnt and quite honestly off-putting, impossible to score. Even worse on day 2.

Notes of olives, mature cherries, mineralsk; a leaner style than usual, the vintage show, but the wine is immensely clean and vraiment Côte-Rôtie. Many, many years left.

Pushing the envelope, very developed - loosing breath, heated posture. Still some fruit here, but not much. Looking at other notes, I wonder about the provenance (though it came from the Danish importer

From MG - only comes in this format.
Fresh with fine tannins, great intensity, notes of cherries, tar - still young and even after four days, this was still showing good freshness

Singing. Classic with notes of tar, tobacco, truffels and red, full berries; some animal notes here, but not overwhelmingly rustic, vary harmonious, elegant and ends with a fine hint of sweetness.

Very closed, accents on the liquoer, very concentrated in the style of the house, better on the next days, but stil ...

Creamy, quite full - a bit more developed than expected, perhaps, still loads of fine acidity and a full, vibrant mousse here.
