Out of the blue I decided to taste every Pahlmeyer Merlot I have in the cellar
PnP. For me I think this is the wrong side of its peak. It is beginning to build cherry liqueur with hints of medicinal properties.

Pnp - Nice nose - cherry lollipop and strawberry. N7 T7 B7
PnP - lacks fruit compared to the 08 in nose but has a lightly woody nose. More restrained than the 08 and rounded with more body.N6 B7.5 T7
Cherry and raspberry similar to the 2008.Pnp - T7 B7.5
This may well be a flawed bottle.Coravin'd TCA on the nose and strong tannins. Not sure how I could score it. T7 B7 F6
PnpThis was a major surprise - having had the 04 earlier in the evening and not having enjoyed it, I expected this to be a disappointment.Medium plus bodied and integrated and smooth. Nose a little muted. N5 B7 Not overly cherryI think this is at a magnificent prime right.
Pnp - had this just after the 2003. You could tell the youthfulness and bright nose. Almost too early too rate. Tonight has been a wild ride of consistency and almost tells me I don't know where to go year on year.
WOTN with a runner up 2003 which was a great surprise.
