Pale yellow in color. Funky charred oak nose. Dominant sulfur on the nose and palate. Falls very flat on the finish. 12.5% alcohol.

Citrus and flint on the nose. Pears, caramel, gun powder and flowers. Fresh tropical fruit finish with good acidity. Nice richness with some depth. Showed much better tonight than at the Quail tasting a few months ago. 12% alcohol.

Pale yellow color. Subdued nose. Tropical fruit and orange citrus. Spicy and dry. Nice acidity and richness. Elegant finish. 13% alcohol.

Caramel, chalk, sea salt, limestone and tropical fruit. Nice depth and complexity. At this point, the wine is more put together than the Clos du Papillon of the same vintage. 13% alcohol.

From half bottle. Spearmint and menthol. Nothing like what I've had numerous times before. Definitely an off bottle. Not sure what's wrong? Not corked. Not heat damaged.

From half bottle. Beautiful tropical fruit nose. Pears and honey on the palate. Incredible depth and richness. Very complex finish and exceptionally well balanced.

Pears and limestone. Dry minerality. Simplistic finish. Bubble completely disappeared after about 10 minutes. Odd wine.
