Introduction
We get 10 wines in 10 glasses. All wines of a different varietal or blend and from a different location. We have to tell in approx 1 hour where the wine is produced and of which varietal or traditional blend, the vintage and as many details as we can give. For big ego’s this is the ultimate way to land with both feet on the ground and become humble again ;-) ;-)!

Transparent wine. Red berries, candy fruits and laurel in the bouquet. On the palate chocolate, flowers, mild acidity and tannin. Some bitterness and length. Pleasant wine.

2009 Il Pozzo Barolo 89 Points

Transparent wine. A bit rustic in the bouquet with also some sweet candy flavors. On the palate ripe dark berries, oak, tea, good acidity, a touch of sweetness and good tannin. Will improve with a few more years of ageing. 88 - 89+

Dark berries and vanilla in the bouquet. On the palate medicine, clove, salty licorice, ok acidity and tannin and a good length, but overall not very harmonious or tempting.
