  • NV Billecart-Salmon Champagne Grand Cru Brut Blanc de Blancs 92 Points

    France, Champagne, Champagne Grand Cru

Exclusively from the five Grand Cru villages on the Côte des Blancs, dosage 6 gr/l. Fresh and mineral core, flowers and lemon curd, silky texture, lively but caressing mousse, nice hint of cream on the finish, very good length. Very elegant overall.

  • 2016 Domaine Pascal Cotat Sancerre La Grande Côte 92 Points

France, Loire Valley, Upper Loire, Sancerre

Mature Sauvignon Blanc on the nose, vegetal but calm and relaxed, peach and apricot, hint of flower honey and lifted aromas of white flowers; the palate is all silk and finesse, balance and harmony, with subtle bitters on the finish providing welcome grip; youthfully tight on the finish, citrus, jasmin, green apple, hint of liquorice, good length. It is hard to discern the real character and structure of the wine through all its baby charm, but it is certainly very enjoyable as is.

  • 2006 Domaine de Cristia Châteauneuf-du-Pape 91 Points

    France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape

A blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre, unoaked. Good volume (15% ABV) but quite elegant, smooth, soft, floral, a modest dose of firm but ripe tannins, garrigue and currants, displays purity, charm and freshness, complete finish, good length. Drinking beautifully.
