In a vintage that was horrible for reds and we never tasted any dry whites we had low expectations- oh boy were we in for a treat. Maybe this was like 1992 where dry whites are amazing while reds are abysmal.
Beeswax, tangerine, exotic fruit, pink grapefruit, still incredibly young (!) phenomenal mouthfeel, great acidity. Just stunning!
Slightly less stellar bottle than the first one I had, still a stunning wine. Chocolate, dried fruits, candied sugar (but less than the first bottle) candied orange peel, saffron, incredibly long.
The crazy thing is: We had it next to the „Seehof Provokation 2008“ (which I seem to be the only one to review here on Cellartracker) but - while you really shouldn’t compare wines that are so different - was the clearly preferred wine by the whole group!

This must have been an off bottle, good structure underneath but unable to rate
