Introduction

Every participant had to bring a wine of the theme. We did not know which wines were brought by the others. All wines were tasted blind, also without knowing when the wine you brought yourself was poured.

    France, Provence, Bandol

    In the bouquet stable, autumn and barnyard impressions. Dark berries and sweet spices as well. On the palate oak, vanilla, toast, dark berries, sweet spices, elegance and length with good acidity and round tannin.

    Beautiful and aromatic bouquet with laurels and sweet ripe fruits. On the palate ripe dark berries, some green herbs, good acidity and sticky tannin. 91+

    South Africa, Coastal Region, Swartland

    Ripe dark cherry juice, green herbs, earth and toast in the bouquet. On the palate juicy and elegant, red and dark berries, garrigue, fresh acidity, slightly sticky tannin. Cola candy and some medicine in the taste as well.

    The bouquet is fresh and also a bit rustic with some smoke. On the palate juicy cherries, creamy, elegant and easy with good acidity and round tannin.
