In our neighborhood there is a new competition. You get 6 white wines and 6 reds. One at a time and completely blind. As a participant you have to determine varietal or blend, country, region, other details like a more detailed appellation or info about oak usage etc. Finally also the producer.
This tasting in which wines are also poured fully blind is in fact to practice for this competition.
