Medium dark yellow in color. Minerally, slatey, petroly. Less sweet than a young Auslese, but consistent with age. Full on the palate, yet light and airy at the same time.

Nice meaty and dark fruit flavors. A bit drying, but nice concentration. Perhaps a bit shut down?
