Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street Tasted Saturday, August 31, 2019 by chatters with 105 views
I popped to Prince downstairs before the Bordeaux tasting and tried a few of the Venetian offerings.
A little lemon, stone fruit, almost gooseberry & grapefruit. Juicy, fresh, very slightly bitter on the finish. Okay.

Softly cherry, fresh, smells crunchy. A little sweet spice. Tangy, juicy, fresh, cherry.
Spiced cherry, very slight oxidation, liquorice, pretty. Thick tannins, drying across the palate, cherry fruit, breadth, alcohol warmth.
A little wood glue, baked cherry, a little raisined (unsurprisingly), very slight plain chocolate. Big, bolshy, plenty of tannins which dominate the ripe cherry fruit.
Nothing here for me.
