• 2014 Genevieve Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs Brut 87 Points

  South Africa, Cape South Coast, Overberg

  Yeast, yellow fruit and citrus in the bouquet. On the palate nicely dry with green apples, minerals and firm citrus acidity.

  Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer

  Honey, some petrol and butter in the bouquet. Same on the palate, good acidity and some bitterness. Mature and good wine.

  In the bouquet raisins and very ripe berry fruits. On the palate red and dark berries, garrigue, some bell pepper, a firm dose of good acidity and round tannin.

  Very ripe dark berry fruits in the bouquet. Some red berries, smoke and celery as well. On the palate a concentrated wine with sweet spices, chocolate and a firm dose of sweetness as well as acidity. Fully mature now. Don’t wait much longer.

  In the bouquet a lot of ripe dark berries and cherries. On the palate chocolate, ripe dark berries, oak and vanilla, licorice, good acidity and tannin. Full bodied and beautiful wine.

  Beautiful bouquet with red berries and well dosed oak. On the palate red berries, chocolate, good and juicy acidity and mild tannin. Elegant wine which is entering its maturity stage and it will probably stay on this level for a few years.

  Still a purple color. The bouquet is a bit rustic with red berries and garrigue. On the palate the same impressions, cigar, ripe fruits, good acidity and tannin. Beautiful and still quite youthful. 91 - 92
