Gang of 4 in Covid19 times; Pinot Noir versus Spätburgunder

Just four persons in a very large living room.
We each brought two bottles. The wines were poured blind.
In every flight we had to tell what the Pinot Noir was and what the Spätburgunder.

  Beautiful bouquet with pear, citrus and a touch of oak. On the palate a firm amount of fresh citrus, green impressions, juicy acidity and fairly full bodied.

  Some barnyard, red berries and vanilla in the somewhat perfumed bouquet. On the palate juicy fruits, like strawberries, laurel, oak, vanilla and herbs. Good acidity and still slightly sticky tannin.

  Mature bouquet with some rose hips, bell pepper and rustic impressions. On the palate juicy and pleasant acidity, some blackberries and cherries, chocolate, a pleasant dose of oak and a touch of sweetness. Still a very ok wine.
