By far the darkest and most concentrated among the rest of the village wines. Deep purple. Dark fruit, cassis, and hints of tobacco. Savory on the palette, with quite a bit of structure. My first from the winery, matches the expectations of a bolder side of chambolle.

Dark red, bordering into purple. Oak is dominating this wine right now, and it seems to be showing the warmth of the vintage. ABV was not provided on the tasting notes but alcohol shows. Spice and dark fruits dominate, but it does come across as juicier than I would have expected given the rest of the experience.

Most surprising wine of the flight. Bright fruit seemed almost... tropical? Totally different character than the rest of the lineup from the village, which almost makes me it was a flawed or off bottle. Yet it wasn't off-putting, and otherwise seemed well-integrated, if robust.

Bright red cherry, tea leaf, and some metallic notes. Well structured, one of the favorites of the flight.
