Flight 1 (3 Notes)

  • NV Dehours Champagne Grande Réserve Brut 91 Points

    France, Champagne

A well distributed Champagne in Amsterdam, 50% Pinot Meunier, equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, good proportion of vin de réserve from a solera started in 1998, malo complete. Rich colour, pure and direct, vibrant and minerally, rich fruit and spice and a lovely hint of nutty evolution.

  • 2017 Tissot (Bénédicte et Stéphane / André et Mireille) Traminer Arbois 93 Points

    France, Jura, Arbois

Biodynamic viticulture, aged for two years on oak (ouillé), 13% ABV. A wonderfully gastronomic wine, salted lemon and touches of wood and earth, savoury, rich but fresh, perfect weight, great character but not in the least overbearing, hint of nuttiness on the finish. This is why I love Jura.

  • 2019 Giuseppe Rinaldi Freisa Langhe 91 Points

    Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Langhe DOC

Ripe black cherries, dusty tannins, fresh and grippy, hint of violets and peaches, clear and precise, light but intense, silky texture, good resonance and length.
