Frank very kindly gave me a lift after Prince to have a look at a few more wines.
I like the endeavour here but not the execution so much - the muted fruit/weight of tannins was problematic for me.
2021 Riley Harrison Wines Roussanne Sol
Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale
lightweight, medium minus intensity aromas of stone fruit, slight bitterness, savoury notes. Medium plus intensity acidity, tangy, texture from skins, a little bitter. Meh.

2021 Riley Harrison Wines Grenache Fleur De La Lune
Australia, South Australia, Barossa, Barossa Valley
Aromas of strawberry, savoury, controlled whole bunch, slightly funky...Juicy but savoury, quite a lot of fine textured tannic grip, fruit plays second fiddle. Hmm.

2021 Riley Harrison Wines Syrah Black Hound
Australia, South Australia, Barossa, Barossa Valley
Violet, pepper, pretty nose with dark hued fruits in support and a tiny smidge of volatility. Fresh acid lends juiciness, fleshy but, again, lacks fruit of the amount of tannins (like the grenache) and the fruit that is there proves a little sour...
