This was a head turner. The last bottle, going out very strong. The nose is outstanding, flowing forth with amazing Christmas spices, earth, baked cinnamon pears, toast and toasted hazelnut along with ocean aromas. The palate is suave, creamy, pear panna cotta, ultra fine mineral definition, tart and crisp. Dang I love '02 Champagne.
Light gold color. Drank a glass over an hour. Great showing today. Very autolytic, apple, baked apple crisp, rising dough, almond spice cake on the nose. Really crisp on the palate, great acid, brisk apple peel and candied lemon, and nice spice. Excellent.
Light gold plus color. PNP, drank a glass over an hour. Fantastic nose; really powerful, briny citrus, spiced pear, a sweet essence of white flowers, ripe yet contained. The palate shows pear, lemon, toasted barrel, a little smoky flint, but less minerality overall, brine, long and deep.

Dark gold color. PNP, drank a glass over 30 minutes. Well this was all that. Orange cream, orange marmalade, unctuous, honeyed, ripe peach, vanilla bean, spice cake.
