Introduction

Burgundy course held by Vinmonopolet Sandnes. I see my scores are slightly lower than average and that could been affected by rather narrow glasses and too little time to let the wine develop in the glass.

    France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru

    Garnet with clear rims. Red currant, lingonberries, strawberries, raspberries, mushroom, earthy, licorice, cinnamon and vanilla on the nose. Fruity and fresh on the palate. Balanced acidity. Long finish. Very good wine.

    France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru

    Ruby red with light rim. Strawberries, raspberries, tobacco, leather, black currant and oak on the nose. Slightly hint of volatile acidity. Warm fruit, fresh with hint of jam on the palate. Good length. Very good wine.

    Garnet color with brick colored rim. Raspberries, mushroom, earthy, strawberries, oak, tobacco and cinnamon on the nose. Very fresh and fruity on the palate. Good balance. Present tannins, but they feel smooth. Very good wine.

    Garnet color with brick colored rim. Strawberries, vanilla, mushroom, earthy, raspberry jam and oak on the nose. A bit closed. Fresh, but lack some fruit on the palate. Present tannins. Lacking a bit on the balance. Good length. Good wine.
