Lovely stuff - straw colour, on the nose a hint of cut grass, lemon. On the palate - good acidity, the lemon is there and maybe a hint of liquorice, but a somewhat generous mouthfeel that makes it not fatiguing. Decent stuff and excellent value.
100% Merlot. 13.5% abv. Lovely stuff - colour wise, the purple is fading to garnet, and the nose is gentle pine cones and brambles. On the palate - lovely structure, still some acidity and fine tannins in balance with the fading oak, there’s still some fruit there, this is just gorgeous. Friday night treat, paired with home made burger and chips and Terminator Genisys.
