Opened and decanted with dinner. Definitely benefited from air, particularly on the palate. Distinct Aligote nose with grape and herb aromas. Palate is seriously textured and picks up weight layers with air. A noteworthy Aligote, but the pricing makes no sense to me vis a vis great 1er and even Grand Cru white Burgundy.

PnP. Gorgeously aromatic and wide-open for business with more red than black cherry though plenty of meat, floral and spice. Palate is so silky albeit medium bodied in this vintage and benefiting from the old vine intensity. Delicious now with upside from here.
PnP and enjoyed over a couple hour lunch. Reduction noticeable and nicely integrated with the rich, nutty Meursault fruit. Nicely fresh and zippy particularly as it gets air and picks up length.
PnP. Explosive aromas of white fruit, citrus and minerality. The palate is wide open for business with excellent concentration and freshness. Primary for sure, but providing youthful pleasure, with serious upside from here.
PnP and beams with so much pure strawberry fruit and spice. A bit fizzy, so we threw it in the decanter for 45 minutes. Fizz dissipates with air. This wine is really all about the pure strawberry and rhubarb with a silky mouthfeel. Lots of pleasure but not the most complex.
PnP and enjoyed over a couple hour lunch. More ripe and rich than the '19 Les Vireuils tasted the day prior, though this hangs together with sufficient energy and lift throughout. Enjoyable now and probably not going to age as well as some of the surrounding vintages.
Decanted and enjoyed over a long dinner. Substantial concentration and power. First few sips were tight though the gradually softened and with an hour was providing a lot of pleasure. Striking combination of orchard and citrus purity with depth/power and length for days. One for the ages, with upside from here.
PnP. So much pure Nebbiolo fruit that is still open-knit and plush. Beautiful spice and floral accents throughout. Excellent freshness and precision with the balance and bones to age glacially.

PnP. Classic in all ways with plenty of rich, dense orchard fruit matched with acidic cut. Judicious wood adds dimension. Drinking pretty nicely, if primary, at this young age.
Disgorged Sep 2019. Full, wide-open, intense nose of bruised apples and pears with a hint of natural funk. The palate is clean with round, appealing fruit and loads of energetic bead. Nicely done in the style but pricing makes little sense.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru

PnP. Wide open for business. Quintessentially Vosne and DRC with loads of black cherry, black tea, violets, stem spice and Asian spice throughout. Rich, velvety and delicious fruit that is non-stop. Young, but pleasure-packed already. I suspect the young vines help and allow this to show so well already.
