Rich, concentrated stone fruit, a little toast, bacon fat, sweet spice. Juicy, concentrated but fleshy, dense rich stone fruit is generous, woody note to the tannic burr, a little citrus joins on the finish, complex, balanced in a bold way. Very good.

Ooh, 777 clone! Black cherry compote, a sense of concentration. Tannins are super persistent, fresh black cherry fruit in the mouth as well. Compelling.

Funky, slightly meaty, gamey, spice black fruits, sweet spice, plenty of grip has an oaky underpin (especially after the Kiwi Pinots) black fruits, alcohol warmth intrudes on the finish. Meh.
Medium minus intensity aromas show quite austere; mute black fruits, slight herbaceous underpin, red berry and baked earth with time and plentiful agitation. Juicy, slightly sour red and black fruits; it's a touch hard and unwieldy, plenty of textured drying grip. Not for me.
Blackberry, a little pepper from alcohol prickle, charcuterie, savoury, plenty of spice. Just the right side of sour wild black fruits, tiny peppery underpin, persistent, softly textured tannic grip carries the fruit. Okay.
Leafy, sapid notes over blackcurrant, slight plums, red berry and a little ripe cranberry, cedar, biscuit, tomato leaf and alcohol prickle - lots going on. In the mouth it's sour, red hued fruit, tannic grip is coarse, flour textured, medium plus length. An interesting and complex nose is let down by the palate. Meh.

Tight but powdery tannins persists long as does the black fruit, Balanced, Good but not for me.
