Clean nose. White floral attack. Some padding beneath the initial elegance. Somewhat one dimensional, lacking cut and energy, though perhaps that applies to me rather than the wine. ***

Nicely clean nose. Relatively neutral on the palate too. Mid weight with a touch of heat on the finish. Just restrained enough for it to be a feature but not overtly detrimental. Breadth rather than depth of length. ***

Mid to full garnet. Vibrant. Densely silky. A touch of structure still. Attractive with poise and presence. ****

Deep garnet. Fuller. More stuffing and meat here. Good lift with a nice line. A good mix of gravitas and elegance. ****

Light to mid garnet. Ever so slightly hazy. That sous bois decayed quality coupled with a sweetness of fruit that screams 97. Harmonious, attractive and very drinkable (after a flawed bottle at last year’s Jadotfest).

A sense of 93acidity and prickliness here. Earthy meat on the nose. Jury split here between those that think it’s off, and those who expect it to open in the glass (it does). A silkiness but a fair a,Lunt of interest too, though not at the heights of a bottle at the 18 Jadotfest. ****

Dense, plush. Mid to full red fruit. Relatively robust. A blue-collar GC. ****

Mid to full garnet. Nicely rich. Persiste. Meat, earth, goody body. A step up in quality and typicity from a bottle earlier in the year. ****

Mag. 08 base. Nicely chalky. A hint of cream but still quite structured with good underlying acidity. Time in hand. ****
